Change default password Nutanix CE cluster

Note to self to change all the default passwords of a Nutanix CE cluster after installation.

The default password is 'nutanix/4u'. To change the password of the local 'nutanix' account, log in to a CVM, and type passwd.

This will change the password for all CVM instances.

To change the password of the local 'nutanix' account, log in to Prism Central VM, and type passwd.

IPMI

For out-of-band management (IPMI) change the password of the local 'ADMIN' account. The default password depends on the hardware. Possible values are 'ADMIN' or <node serial number>.
